A New Solution That Stops Snoring and Lets You Sleep

If you’re like most Americans you probably don’t get eight hours sleep each night. But, if you also constantly feel exhausted, experience headaches for no obvious reason or have high blood pressure, you could have a more serious problem. That’s because these can all be the result of snoring—which is, in turn, the most common symptom of a potentially serious health problem—obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). While most people think of snoring as a minor annoyance, research shows it can be hazardous to your health.  That’s because for over 18 million Americans it’s related to obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). People who suffer from OSA repeatedly and unknowingly stop breathing during the night due to a complete or partial obstruction of their airway.  It occurs when the jaw, throat, and tongue muscles relax, blocking the airway used to breathe.  The resulting lack of oxygen can last for a minute or longer, and occur hundreds of times each night. Thankfully, mos...

How This One Trick Could Transform Your Body

Reading about sports these days, we are constantly bombarded with news of top notch athletes being exposed for using illegal steroids. Steroid use involves huge costs, legal issues, and above all, potential health problems. With such risks, you wonder why anyone would be tempted to go this route. Fortunately, steroid use may eventually be a thing of the past.  That’s because medical researchers studying how the human body builds muscle and endurance are developing safe and legal substances which can increase the body's ability to build muscle, without the health risks associated with steroids. One of the most interesting fields of research surrounds a naturally occurring chemical compound called nitric oxide. Nitric oxide is a vasodilator, which means it helps move oxygen to the muscles when they need it most. Increased nitric oxide in the blood stream signals the blood vessel walls to relax, which allows more blood to flow to the ...

Four top tricks to save money

The queen of the discounts reveals how to secure a bargain. Britain's high street has stepped up its battle to tempt you to spend – with serious price cuts on clothing, footwear and electrical goods.  Inflation – the rising cost of food, clothing and other goods or services – eased back from 1.7 per cent in February to 1.6 per cent in March, according to official figures. And a similarly themed index from the British Retail Consortium and Nielsen, a global market research company, recently published figures showing a fall in shop prices thanks to large discounts on clothes and electrical goods. Mike Watkins, head of retailer and business insight at Nielsen, says: ‘Savvy shopping and looking for savings by buying on promotion is the way that most shoppers now look to save money and the continued fall in shop prices will also be helping households to keep to their budget.’  No one takes the job of family budgeting more seriously than Sandra Purser –...

10 Reasons Why You Will Never Become Rich

There’s an interesting maxim about how long wealth actually stays with a person and their descendants. The saying is three generations, tops: one to make it, one to spend it, and the third to blow it. Of course, there are exceptions to this rule, but have you ever sat down and seriously thought about wealth and what it means to you? Or do you figure, “What the heck, I’ve always been broke, my forefathers were broke; it’s generational” – it’s just a rite of passage of sorts. If you feel that wealth is out of your reach, you aren’t alone. According to some experts, there are millions of ‘clueless potential millionaires’ who could be at the top of the wealth ladder if they only reined in a few bad habits. However, you may be a skeptic, and rightly so. Being wealthy means different things to different people. But according to the experts, there are financial mistakes many people make that keep them away from their possible wealth. What is Wealth Anyway?  Most...

Christiana was on her way to the airport to take a flight to Cyprus where she is studying when the whole incidence occurred. Village love triangle ends in death

Betrayed wife Rena Salmon waited months before serving her closest friend a cold and fatal dish of revenge after discovering she was having an affair with her cheating husband. Former Army crack shot Salmon drove to her love rival's beauty salon in her black Mercedes. Her husband's double-barrelled shotgun was in the back. She had loaded it that morning before dropping off their children at school. Salmon drove to Chiswick, west London, and parked the car. Then, carrying the weapon in the recognised Army position, she walked to the salon, where she blasted Lorna Stewart to death. Met through the school run Salmon, Miss Stewart and their respective husbands regularly socialised together in the picturesque "Aga Saga" village of Great Shefford in Berkshire. They met through the school run. But the two women could not have been more different. While their families apparently bonded, Miss Stewart was said to have hidden her dislike of her nearby neighbou...
